The Vía de la Plata is a Roman road and pilgrimage route which starts in southern Spain and continues to the north coast at Asturias. It is used today by many pilgrim on their journey to Santiago de Compostela. It is one of the most popular Caminos in Spain.
This new print edition is based on the ebook of the same name. Published in February 2013, it is based on up-to-date information about pilgrim accommodation and facilities along the route. It covers the whole route from Seville to Santiago on the Vía de la Plata and the Camino Sanabrés and the extension which joins the Camino Francés in Astorga. It also describes the Camino to Finisterre and Muxía.
This latest update from April 2013 contains information on new pilgrim hostels which opened in late 2012 and early 2013 in Guillena, Monesterio, Zafra, Torremejía, Valdesalor, Aldeanueva del Camino, El Cubo del Vino, Peñacaballera and Olleros de Tera.
